Squeaking
What It Sounds Like
A high-pitched squeak or squeal, usually occurring rhythmically as the door moves up or down.
Most Common Causes
- Dry hinges: Metal hinges rubbing against each other or against the door section without lubrication. The most common cause of garage door squeaking.
- Dry rollers: Steel rollers rubbing in their brackets or along the track without adequate lubrication.

Fix
